Network Infrastructure EngineerOVERVIEW »Location: Basingstoke, UK (Remote-friendly with occasional travel)Contract: Full-TimeDepartment: TechOpsSalary Range: £35,000–£45,000 (depending on experience)WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT »Hey I'm Rich, Tech Ops Director, and I'm looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in real-time AV networking, ideally gained in live sports, broadcast, or high-performance event environments. This is a field-ready, hands-on role for someone who’s just as comfortable designing IP plans and advising on network best practices as they are troubleshooting multicast flow issues in a server room or onsite at a global event.You’ll work closely with our Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support low-latency, high-bandwidth AV-over-IP systems, ensuring stability, visibility, and scalability across our networked media workflows. You’ll also play a key role in supporting on-prem to AWS delivery models, advising engineering teams on transport-layer design issues, and ensuring our network infrastructure is aligned with evolving software requirements.This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that connects fieldwork, system engineering, and software delivery.
