Job Title: Network Engineer (Remote Work)
Position Type: Contract (11-03-2025 - 05-08-2026)
Location: Seattle, WA
Qualifications:
ā¢ 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on design and architecture in a global enterprise or retail environment.
ā¢ Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies
ā¢ Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and security policies.
ā¢ Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols and network infrastructure design.
ā¢ Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
ā¢ Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, vManage).
ā¢ Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
ā¢ Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Cisco Meraki CMNA/CMNO, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ Experience designing and supporting retail store networks, including POS systems, guest Wi-Fi, and IoT devices.
ā¢ Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation strategies.
ā¢ Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network configuration and monitoring.
ā¢ Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive technical strategy.
