Network Engineer, Edge Network Operations

The Network Engineer will provide operational support for Google Cloud Platform customers, troubleshoot network issues, and enhance customer experience through automation. Responsibilities Provide operational support for Google Cloud Platform customers Help customers resolve issues with network services, and assist with troubleshooting issues with connectivity and performance Validate and test customer configurations in an interoperability lab environment Write workflow automation to improve the customer experience Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience 1 year of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python Experience with network design Understanding of cloud computing, Linux server environments, network design and deployment Understanding of network operations Benefits Bonus Equity Benefits Company Overview Google specializes in internet-related services and products, including search, advertising, and software.
