We are seeking a highly experienced Network Architect to join our network team! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading software company. Get more details below!Contract Duration: 6+ months with potential extensionWorksite Location: Remote (Central or Eastern Time Zone preferred; Midwest or East Coast ideal)Compensation: $65.00-$75.00 per hourWhat you ll do as the Network Architect:Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current enterprise network, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environmentsDevelop a future-state network architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology goalsEstablish network standards, policies, and best practices for modernization and scalabilityDeliver detailed network documentation, including current-state diagrams, inventories, and dependenciesCreate high-level architectural abstracts to illustrate the evolution path from current to future stateProvide architectural guidance on Azure networking with a focus on Equinix, NetBond, and ExpressRoute integrationsCollaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure resilience, compliance, and security alignmentSupport knowledge transfer and mentor internal team members on best practicesWhat you need to be a Network Architect:8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture rolesProven expertise in Azure networking, especially Equinix, NetBond, and ExpressRouteStrong background with Cisco (routing/switching, enterprise networks), Fortinet (firewalls, VPN, security), and Riverbed (WAN optimization, performance management)Experience designing and documenting hybrid cloud network architecturesStrong ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentationExcellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and executive stakeholdersStrategic thinker with hands-on technical depth As an equal opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
