Netsuite Consultant for Executive Controls and Reporting
We are looking for a senior NetSuite Administrator with a strong background in Finance/Accounting to audit and fix our Role Permissions and Financial Reporting security. The Current Problem: P&L Access Control: We need to restrict specific users (e.g., Shift Managers, Junior Staff) from seeing the full P&L or specific GL accounts, while still allowing them to enter/view necessary transaction data. Departmental Restrictions: We need to implement proper Role Restrictions (by Department or Class) so users only see financial data relevant to their area. Reporting: We need to clean up our standard financial reports to ensure they are GAAP compliant and accurately reflect our "Labor Standards" data (once that data is properly captured). Scope of Work: Role Audit: Review our current custom roles and identify security gaps. Permission Hardening: Adjust permissions to ensure "Least Privilege" access to financial data. Report Customization: Fix visibility settings on financial statements so sensitive data (Executive Comp, Total Company Net Income) is hidden from non-executive roles. Requirements: Proven experience with NetSuite Role Management & Permissions. Accounting background (CPA or Controller experience preferred) to understand why we need these controls.
