.NET Software Architect REMOTE
Position : Software Architect - Consultant Location : Charleston, SC (Remote) Duration : 4 Months (Possible Extension) Interview : Virtual Work Mode : 100% Remote Project Overview : Client is seeking a Software Architect Consultant to assist in upgrading the Cadet Accountability System (CAS). Responsibilities : • Assess the technical feasibility, architecture, scalability, and security of CAS. • Align CAS with cadet workflows, supporting Commandant, Academic, and Athletic departments. • Review integration with systems like Banner, Canvas, and health systems. • Analyze user experience, adoption, and training needs. • Evaluate cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI compared to alternative systems. • Review and provide recommendations on codebase modernization / replacement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings. • Prioritize tasks based on organizational goals. • Plan and communicate work activities effectively. Required Skills : • 3+ years experience with C# • 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL • 3+ years in gathering and documenting project requirements Preferred Skills : • Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, Material UI) • Experience with code analysis and modernization planning (3+ years) • Knowledge of 3rd-party integrations (REST APIs, SQL extracts) Apply tot his job
