The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

Essential Functions:

· Software Development:

o Design, develop, and maintain software applications using MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.

o Implement and manage ServiceNow ITSM solutions.

o Ensure the software meets performance, quality, and security standards.

· Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

o Utilize Splunk, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.

o Identify and resolve software issues and bugs promptly.

· Stakeholder Communication:

o Collaborate with project managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

o Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

· Ticket and Request Management:

o Respond to and resolve tickets and requests in a timely manner in ServiceNow & JIRA

o Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.

· Team Collaboration:

o Work closely with other developers, QA teams, and IT staff to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

o Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

· Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

o Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Education: BS in Computer Science or related major

Required Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, Service now and other monitoring tools is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Experience:
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Certifications in relevant technologies.

Technical Competencies:

MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET, ServiceNow ITSM.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 2/14/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $82K-$93K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
