Interview process:
• Two interview rounds total:
• 30-minute manager screen with hiring manager
• 90-minute technical interview with two developers from the team:
• 10-minute intro, 70-minute core (20 30 minutes whiteboard/code exercise + ~40 minutes technical questions), 10-minute wrap-up.
Summary and candidate profile:
This role is a senior .NET backend engineer focused on APIs and database work (SQL). The hire should be able to work autonomously, communicate with stakeholders outside the team, and own features through the full SDLC and deployment cycle. There is an organizational emphasis on AI adoption (nice-to-have skills in AI-assisted development and AI-in-SDLC tools), but the core day-to-day is traditional backend engineering.
Must-have skills / experience:
• Strong .NET (C#) backend development experience
• API design and implementation (REST/JSON)
• SQL / relational database experience
• Experience deploying containerized apps (Kubernetes/CNCF ecosystem) familiarity is sufficient; exact tooling can vary
• Ability to work independently on features, collaborate across small teams (4 5 engineers), and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• CI/CD experience (engineers expected to drive their own CI/CD pipelines)
