Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Experience working with children in a school setting
Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills
Responsibilities
Must be able to provide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classrooms.
Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, and objectives
Facilitate student progress in the functional curriculum
Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
Provide necessary support, communication, direction, and feedback to assigned paraprofessional staff
Maintain regular, positive communication with building staff
Regular and punctual attendance is required
Other duties as assigned by the school administration
