Dedicated Building Substitute Teacher (1.0 FTE full time, temporary) School Year 2023-2024 - Rowe Elementary
Rowe Elementary is seeking a dedicated substitute teacher, who will be assigned solely to our school, to be onsite daily and fill in as needed. At times, the dedicated substitute may be assigned to the same classroom for multiple days. This role will develop knowledge, expertise, and strong relationships with Rowe's leadership, staff, and students. The dedicated substitute will assist with daily classroom functions, implementing lesson plans, and monitoring and supporting students.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. We welcome all areas of expertise, including those with skills supporting English Language Learners, Foreign Languages, and Special Education.
POSITION DETAILS:
Daily rate is $150 for a full day, working 5 days per week
1 paid sick day per month is accrued and retained until needed
$500 bonus per month intended to help with individual healthcare costs
CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Maine state fingerprint (CHRC) authorization. Cost $70. Website:

College education (Associate's or Bachelor's degree)
