Key Responsibilities
⢠Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
⢠Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
⢠Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across environments.
⢠Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
⢠Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral techniques and strategies.
⢠Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral challenges and recommend appropriate interventions.
⢠Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client cases with healthcare professionals.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
⢠A valid LBA in NYS. is required.
⢠A valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required.
⢠Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with special education needs is highly desirable.
⢠Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
⢠Strong skills in patient assessment, including the ability to analyze data and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
⢠Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in various settings.
⢠Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
