The remote work setup allows for a comfortable and efficient work environment, promoting productivity and focus. The role requires full remote work, eliminating the need for daily commutes and offering the opportunity to work from anywhere. You will work closely with your team virtually to achieve shared objectives efficiently.This role at Nutanix will involve 40-50% travel as you cover large Federal agencies. The travel requirements provide you with the chance to engage directly with clients and build strong relationships, playing a crucial role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Your interactions during travel will not only enhance your professional network but also give you valuable insights into the needs and challenges of various clients, contributing to the success of the team and Nutanix as a whole.Your RoleDrive sales revenue for Nutanix Database (NDB) solutions in the US Federal market.Create, develop, qualify, negotiate, and close Public Sector business opportunities to achieve pipeline and revenue objectives.Establish high impact trusted relationships at all levels in large government environments to maintain the health of the assigned territory.Navigate large Federal Government organizations, IT systems and cloud environments to find opportunity, define requirements and propose solutions.Understand Public Sector requirements and represent them to our product, support and executive teams to help us build world-class products.Envision and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.Take responsibility for responding promptly to RFPs and following up with prospects to ensure a seamless sales process.Form, lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including partners, to close new business, maintain the existing customer base and enable maximum customer success. * Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) discussions with customers.

Influence NDB strategies by providing critical feedback on product requirements and sales blockers and maintain & deepen expertise in database solutions and contribute to internal and industry communities.
Achieve/exceed quarterly sales and usage/consumption targets within assigned region.
What You Will Bring

10+ years of experience in Database Solutions and/or Software sales
Proven ability in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Proven above average Federal Sales performance specifically in Database/DBaaS solutions
Strong market segmentation and coverage planning skills
Ability to lead TCO and ROI conversations with customers
Experience in shaping customer decisions and serving as a trusted advisor
Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively
Work ArrangementRemote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 275,600 and USD $ 413,400 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
