National Sales Consultant - Annuities

They are seeking an Annuity National Sales Consultant to promote annuity products and support Ameriprise Financial advisors through effective communication and relationship-building. This role serves as an entry point into a career in wholesaling within the financial services industry.ResponsibilitiesLearn and become an expert in RiverSource annuity products and strategiesBuild and maintain relationships with the wholesaling teamEngage with Ameriprise advisors to learn how RiverSource annuity solutions fit into the financial planning processAnswer calls via an inbound phone queueAnswer questions about our product line upUse effective questioning to match our product solutions to client’s retirement and legacy needsRun illustrations and product proposals and teach advisors how to use these tools to present our solutions to their clientsFollow up as needed to assist in closing the business and finding new opportunitiesPartner with wholesaling teams to identify proactive callout opportunities and determine desired outcomesPass all required exams and keep current on all FINRA and state insurance training and CE requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceActive Series 6State Securities agent registrations (Series 63)Life and Health Insurance LicenseIf licenses are not actively held, they must be obtained within 120 days of start date.
