NAND Product Quality and Reliability R&D Engineer

Job Description

Job role is in Rancho Cordova California ~3 days per week.

As a NAND Product Quality and Reliability R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for product test flow development, product characterization, data analysis and failure analysis to assure the next generation 3D NAND products meet all quality and reliability requirements and specs. This position may be for Sr. or Staff Quality and Reliability R&D Engineer depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop NAND product quality and reliability test flows and methods.
• Design and perform NAND product reliability characterization and quality validation experiments and data analysis.
• Perform electrical failure analysis, determine failure root cause, propose resolution approaches and feedback results to all stakeholders.
• Leverage NAND component quality validation and analysis to improve and optimize process, product and system.
• Assure successful qualifications of NAND technologies / products.

Qualifications
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Microelectronics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of NAND memory technologies / products.
• Understanding of NAND array / product operations, and product characterization and specs validation.
• Knowledge and good understanding of semiconductor device physics, solid-state physics and reliability physics.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process flows.
• Good statistical analysis skills.
• Knowledge and abilities of programming languages (C, C++, Python).
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $102,120- $169,020 USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
