MX Export and Drayage Supervisor

Buckland is looking for a MX Export and Drayage SupervisorWhat you’ll be doingCoordinating MX Export and Drayage services through preparing documentation and monitoring the release of freight for the import of commercial goods in the US in accordance with Customs Regulations.You will be responsible for… • Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers. • Oversee the entire lifecycle of drayage shipments, from quoting and price negotiation with customers and carriers to delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient transportation operations. • Coordinate MX Export pedimento with the different MX Brokers. • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) for each operation. • Ensure the MX Export pedimento is properly fill. • Ensure MX Brokers are uploading the MX Export legal File to company FTP. • Manage timing of deliveries and pick up schedules. • Evaluate and suggests alternative freight vendors. • Preparation of customs and internal documents when necessary. • Ability to manage a group of employees • Monitor work volumes of direct reports to ensure entries are completed to customs regulations guidelines • Other duties as assigned.What we need from you • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or related disciplineWhat skills & experience you’ll bring to us • Minimum 4 years of Logistics experience. • 4+ years of logistics experience. • Preferable background working directly with a team managing day to day duties. • Effective communication skills • Intermediate MS Office Knowledge • Leadership and decision-making skills • English advancedOriginally posted on Himalayas
