Mutual Funds Relationship Manager

The Mutual Funds Relationship Manager will act as a trusted advisor, focusing on client retention and satisfaction while providing expertise in the mutual fund industry.ResponsibilitiesMaximize client retention and expand U.S. Bancorp Fund Services' product development and servicesMonitor client asset levels and propose fee structure amendmentsConduct monthly client risk assessments measuring client satisfaction levels for each service line offered by USBFSProactively make recommendations to clients to maintain and increase service levels offered by USBFSResearch client's products and existing services to identify sales opportunitiesCoordinate interdepartmental meetings to facilitate open communication among internal personnel to effectively develop strategies and solutions to meet clients' requestsMaintain open client communication by coordinating and facilitating client tours of USBFS' operations as well as hosting at USBFS' annual client conferenceReview and approve all business line invoices of USBFS and U.S. Bank, N.A. for reasonableness and accuracyPrepare and complete transfer agent audit request and information for SEC ExamsReview and approve shareholder statements, shareholder applications, regulatory documents and tax formsAssist Senior Relationship Managers with daily responsibilitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experienceOne to two years of experience in a mutual fund related or brokerage industry positionSolid knowledge of the financial services industry and an understanding of operations, legal or accounting principles which impacts the mutual fund industryAbility to build strong working relationships by promptly responding to client inquiries and understanding clients' priorities while working to ensure ongoing client satisfactionDemonstrated effective work habits and organizational skills of prioritizing and planning, with the ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting to changing client prioritiesWell-developed ability to produce high-quality work that is accurate and thorough with attention to detailProven team-oriented skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsAbility to build formula-driven Microsoft Excel spreadsheetsFlexibility with work hours as required meeting expectations of the clientBenefitsHealthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawCompany OverviewAt U.S. It was founded in 1968, and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
