Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with the legal billing software Tabs3 , ensuring accurate and timely management of financial records, accounts, and transactions. Experience with insurance billing platforms such Legal ExChange, Legal X, T360, etc is a plus.

Please note this is a part-time position and can be either remote, hybrid or in-person.

General Bookkeeping:
• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in our legal software system (Tabs3).
• Review and verify financial data for accuracy and completeness.
Client and Vendor Management:
• Prepare prebills and emailing out statements
• Process client billing, ensuring invoices are timely, accurate, and in compliance with company policies.
• Manage vendor payments, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Upload invoices to insurance portals, email adjusters and handle appeals.
• Insurance account setup
Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for review by management and external auditors.
Compliance & Auditing:
• Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Month-End and Year-End Close:
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and assist in preparing financial statements for internal or external reporting.

Pay: $22.44 - $25.00 per hour
