Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team at Music Kids LLC, a leading instrumental education program. As a Music Educator, you will have the opportunity to teach beginning level violin, piano, and guitar to students across Seattle, WA. Our program is expanding, and we are looking for enthusiastic educators to help steward successful Music Kids programs at our newest partner school campuses.

Responsibilities:

Teach small group classes in violin, piano, and guitar to students of various age groups, including 3-5 year olds
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote musical instrument education
Manage student records, provide meaningful learning updates to parents, and support students virtually
Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with senior resident Faculty Members and staff
Promote the program and drive enrollment at partner school events throughout the year


Requirements:

At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in music classes or a traditional classroom setting
Ability to teach more than one instrument at a beginning level, or ideally all three (curricular resources and assistance available)
Strong interest in working with a wide range of student age groups and having a direct impact on the primary education system
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
Reliable, organized, and timely with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team


What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $45,760 - $68,640 per year (10 months)
