JOB OPPORTUNITY: Booking Agent for Suzy Mac – Bold Brazilian-American Artist Blending Cultures Through Sound
LOCATION: Remote (with strong connections in North Carolina, Southeast—including Miami—and Northeast USA)

ABOUT SUZY MAC:
Suzy Mac (aka Suzy McCalley) is a Brazilian-American singer, songwriter, actor, and electrifying performer. Her music is a vibrant fusion of samba, Brazilian funk, bossa nova, and American soul, creating a sound that’s as rhythmic as it is rebellious, and as heartfelt as it is fun.
Her upcoming album, Amor e Atitude, drops this fall and is produced by Bill Stevens (yes brother of acclaimed artist Becca Stevens). Her music has already lit up international stages, and now she’s ready to tour the Southeast, Northeast, and beyond—with your help.
YOUR MISSION:
We’re looking for a Booking Agent with hustle, heart, and industry savvy to book Suzy Mac at:
Music venues (small/mid-size, especially those with world, jazz, Latin, or indie programming)
Music festivals
Colleges & universities
Cultural centers and performing arts spaces
Private events with a soul
REGIONS OF FOCUS:
North Carolina (home based)
Southeast U.S. (including Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, Charleston, etc.)
Northeast U.S. (NYC, Philly, Boston, DC, etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Research and pitch Suzy to ideal venues, curators, and festivals
Build and manage a dynamic booking calendar
Handle outreach, fee negotiation, and basic contract logistics
Collaborate with Suzy’s team to align touring with PR & promo
Bring joy, rhythm, and culture to stages across the country!
WHO YOU ARE:
An experienced booking agent or talent manager (2+ years preferred)
Already connected in music scenes across the Southeast and/or Northeast
Comfortable writing strong pitch emails and closing performance deals
Passionate about music that blends cultures and tells a story
Organized, reliable, and fun to work with
Inspired by the opportunity to grow with an artist on the rise
COMPENSATION:
15–20% commission on artist performance fees
Performance bonuses for shows above set revenue goals
Retainer option for candidates with deep relationships and proven results
Room to expand into tour management, PR support, or long-term artist development
