Municipal Engineer - Entry Level

They are seeking an Entry Level Municipal Engineer to support their Civil Engineering Teams, gaining hands-on experience in construction inspection and design while collaborating on various infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Supporting members of our Civil Engineering Teams Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems and site improvements Use of Excel for development of project bid item tables, quantities and cost opinions Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems This position may serve as a Field Engineer during the construction season, involving observation of municipal infrastructure improvements This opportunity is open to candidates residing in or around the St. Paul, MN area Skills Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Ability to collaborate in-office a minimum of three (3) days per week Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc Strong Written and verbal communication skills Previous experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D Previous Civil Engineering or construction experience through internships Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps Benefits Career development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical training Work arrangements that promote work/life balance Flexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivities Paid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choice Company Overview SEH is an civil engineering firm.
