MuleSoft API Developer/Integration Architect

MuleSoft API Developer/Integration Architect Successful candidates will require an ability to apply consulting experience and skills in analysis, design and early development of complex systems using the MuleSoft Platform to provide our client oversight of modernization and sustainment of high availability enterprise applications. The candidate will leverage experience in architecting, configuring, building, and deploying, of the MuleSoft platform as a shared service across the enterprise. A deep understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available. The candidate will work directly with senior-level systems and software engineers and architects to implement solution designs in a large complex worldwide enterprise. Qualifications: • Three (3) or more years of experience in MuleSoft Platform API development/integration. • Seven (7) or more years total experience supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or development role. • Strong experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance. • Experience working with REST, SOAP web services, and RAML in the MuleSoft Platform. • Experience working with MuleSoft Connectors (Standard/Custom). • Ability to troubleshoot the MuleSoft Platform (debuggers/flow analyzers), deployment, and tuning experience using XML, XSLT, JMS, and JSON. • Experience in ETL flows in MuleSoft Platform. Typical Duties/Abilities: • API development using the MuleSoft Platform in a secure multi-tenant environment. • Develop and support highly available APIs using the MuleSoft Platform. • Troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft Platform components. • Develop, design, and implement architect infrastructure/integration roadmaps. • Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics based with MuleSoft API manager. • Provide applications and projects with technical support for the MuleSoft Platform. • Provide guidance and technical expertise for research efforts for the MuleSoft Platform. Soft Skills • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts). • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership. • Communication skills key! Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders. • Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus. Education/Certifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline. • MuleSoft API Integration Architect certificate required.
