Aviatrix is a cloud network security company that provides solutions for securing cloud workloads. They are looking for a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to join their Distributed Cloud Firewall (DCF) Engineering team, where the candidate will work on data plane software, implement features, fix bugs, and improve the efficiency of DCF components in a multi-cloud environment.ResponsibilitiesImplement and test features and improvements to the DCF data plane in C/C++Contribute to the development of data plane filtering logic in C/C ++Contribute to incremental improvements that strengthen customer security postureCollaborate with team members to deliver features end-to-endParticipate in design discussions, design reviews and code reviews to build technical expertiseDebug and fix issues to improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of DCF componentsActively participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussionsSkills1-3 years of relevant software development experienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related fieldStrong software engineering fundamentals: ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable codeCoursework, personal projects or corporate experience in systems development such as networking systems, operating systems, security, or distributed systemsProficiency in C, C++, Rust or similar languageStrong collaboration skills; able to work well in team-oriented and fast-paced environmentsEffective communication skills, verbal and writtenKnowledge of Networking Protocols (TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, DHCPv6)Security protocol experience (SSL, authentication and authorization, firewall)Prior working experience on one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba cloud, etc.)Experience with overlays and tunneling technologiesBenefits100% of employee premiums and 88% of dependent(s) premiums for medical, dental and vision coverage401(k) matchShort and long-term disabilityLife/AD&D insurance$1,000/year education reimbursementFlexible vacation policyCompany OverviewAviatrix® is a leading cloud network security company.
