MRI RADIOLOGIST

Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible MRI Radiologist to join our team on a per diem or contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality interpretation of MRI studies while collaborating with referring physicians and the radiology team to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic reporting. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and provide timely, accurate reports for MRI examinations.
• Collaborate with technologists and referring physicians regarding imaging protocols and findings.
• Ensure imaging studies meet quality and safety standards.
• Participate in case discussions when needed to support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, hospital, and radiology department policies.
• Provide consultative support to clinical teams regarding MRI findings.

Qualifications:
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Body Imaging preferred but not required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in CA.
• DEA certification (if applicable).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience interpreting MRI studies in a clinical or hospital setting.

Schedule & Compensation:
• Flexible per diem or contract scheduling.
• Competitive hourly or per-study compensation.
• Opportunities for ongoing contract extensions based on performance and departmental needs.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with PACS and radiology information systems (RIS).
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume imaging environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy.
