We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Qualifying Banker.

Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
• Completing short form application and pull credit to pre-screen potential borrowers before turning them over to a Loan Officer to present potential options.
• Generating business through the effective use of the Company’s marketing strategies.
• Collection action on all loans approved.
• Promoting quality loan customer service and related activities.
• Engaging in business development opportunities.

Candidates must also have knowledge in:
• Business development, credit underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Negotiation, sales, and closing skills.
• Loan documentation requirements and government regulations.
• Applicable banking regulations and how they relate to Magnolia Bank’s lending policies and procedures.
A high school diploma or equivalent experience and experience in working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment are preferred.
This is a full-time position and reports to the Mortgage LPO Branch Manager.
