We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Qualifying Banker.
Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
Completing short form application and pull credit to pre-screen potential borrowers before turning them over to a Loan Officer to present potential options.
Generating business through the effective use of the Companys marketing strategies.
Collection action on all loans approved.
Promoting quality loan customer service and related activities.
Engaging in business development opportunities.
Candidates must also have knowledge in:
Business development, credit underwriting, and loan structuring.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Negotiation, sales, and closing skills.
Loan documentation requirements and government regulations.
Applicable banking regulations and how they relate to Magnolia Banks lending policies and procedures.
A high school diploma or equivalent experience and experience in working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment are preferred.
This is a full-time position and reports to the Mortgage LPO Branch Manager.
