Mortgage Loan Processor; BR 41 - Hickman; 4/1/2025
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing initial appraisal of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications; assessing the credit standings of applicants through background research; and interviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan or mortgage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ā Identify customer needs, explore all options, and suggest different types of loans. Review files for completeness and accuracy.
Ā Verify accuracy of system input.
Ā Analyze file for program applicability.
Ā Review necessary documentation, such as income and asset documentation, credit report, verifications, appraisal report, preliminary title report, etc.
Ā Follow up with clients to request additional documents as needed or to clarify important points.
Ā Provide status updates to loan officers, borrowers, and agents.
Ā Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services.
Ā Coordinate all aspects of submission to underwriting, documentation requests and satisfaction of closing/funding conditions. Coordinate closings as needed.
Ā Submit files in a timely manner in accordance with company standards.
Ā Review pre-audit HUD-1 to ensure accuracy. Work with loan officer and title companies to resolve any discrepancies prior to closing.
Ā Prioritize workflow to ensure time sensitive files are handled in proper order.
Ā Assure compliance with all regulatory and governmental standards, guidelines, rules and regulations with all regulatory authorities, federal or state ordinances and administrative regulations and statues.
Ā Forge trust relationship and enhance customer dedication.
Ā Ensures confidentiality of bank and customer information.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Preferred Skills:
Ā Preferably 5 years or more processing conventional, VA and FHA loans.
Ā Encompass experience preferred.
Requirements:
Ā Post TRID knowledge required.
Ā Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures.
Ā In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations.
Ā Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
