Apply below! Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid orRemote within Washington, D.C.area) Who We Need: Responsible for educating customer on Company values, process, and operations. Obtains information to submit loan applications for customer. Educates customer on available loan options and answers follow up questions. Provide outstanding customer service throughout the loan process while adhering to all federal, local, and internal guidelines. What You Will Do: • Analyzes applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans. • Obtains and compiles copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.• Explains to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services. • Reviews loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to company policy, guidelines, compliance, and lending regulations. • Maintains customer confidence by keeping all loan information confidential. • Maintains licenses and compliance by participating in required continuing education courses. • Works as a team with sales, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing and management to ensure the customer receives excellent service.• Originates your own sales by contacting prospective clients and developing and monitoring referral sources. • Meeting clients outside of the employer's place of business in order to initiate sales. • Spends a significant amount of time away from their employer's place of business meeting with prospective customers at locations other than the employer's business, such as a client's home, and making in-person calls on real estate agents and brokers, financial advisors and other potential referral sources.• Meet specific goals and requirements by division: Phone/Talk Time Locked Loans Funded Loans Realtor Visits Applications Credit Pulls • Meets standard pull through rates • Completes an accurate loan application. • Meets requirements for Attendance/Tardiness/Punctuality. • Abides by all Company Policies/Procedures. What You Need: • High school diploma or GED is preferred. • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Loan Originator is required • Must possess, or have the ability to possess upon hire, a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license per the SAFE Act; may be asked to become licensed in multiple states.• Solid foundation of mortgage experience. • Exceptional customer service skills. • Ability to adapt well to change. • Demonstrated responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning; must be a fast-paced individual who can effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
