Mortgage Loan Closer Specialist
Certified Mobile Notary Service (https://certifiedmobilenotaryservice.com) is seeking for someone to fill the position of a Mortgage Loan Closer to work remotely in the U.S.
WHAT WILL THE MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER DO?
Ā Performs duties from loans originated from any location throughout the company and/or from various Mortgage Consultants.
Ā Audits the mortgage loan file for accuracy: pre-closing checklist.
Ā Reviews underwriting approval for "clear to close" and "closing" conditions.
Ā Verifies that lock, loan approval, fee sheet, and current loan entry program all match.
Ā Confirms that loan is correct in loan entry program and completes all closing fields.
Ā Prepares and sends closing instructions to title company 24 hours prior to closing. Includes invoices, insurance, and other miscellaneous items relevant to the file.
Ā Balances and finalizes figures and closing and disbursement dates with the title company and has the Loan Consultant approve the Closing Disclosure.
Ā Ensures closing package complies with regulatory and investor requirements, and terms and conditions of Loan Approval.
Ā Prepares and sends closing documents to the title company.
Ā Completes document tracking in loan entry program.
Ā Uses conversation log each time a file is accessed or handled to accurately note progress of file.
Ā Gives status on file to Loan Consultant and Loan Assistant.
Ā Assists post closing and shipping with missing documents or issues.
