They are seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant to support Loan Officers and Loan Processors, ensuring a smooth loan process from application through funding while maintaining effective communication with clients and vendors.ResponsibilitiesFollow up with prospects and leads to assist with application completion and document collectionHelp borrowers complete milestones in the loan application processMaintain communication with clients to ensure all required information is collected and accurately entered into the systemManage follow up tasks related to new loan setup, allowing Loan Officers to focus on originating new businessOrder and track all third-party services, including title, appraisal, payoff statements, and pest inspectionsFollow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered itemsMaintain detailed loan file notes and ensure all order-outs and documents are properly uploadedSupport Processors by handling pre-processing tasks, allowing them to focus on clearing conditions and closing loans efficientlyDuring high loan volume, focus primarily on supporting Loan Processors to move loans efficiently through fundingDuring low loan volume, shift focus to assisting Loan Officers with lead follow-up, prospect outreach, and new loan setupExhibit motivation, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate professionally and effectively with borrowers, team members, and vendorsDemonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the mortgage industry, developing a broad understanding of both origination and processing functionsSkillsSelf-starter with strong time management and problem-solving skillsIndependent, organized, and detail-orientedAble to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectivelyEager to learn with a growth-oriented mindsetStrong customer service and communication skillsHonest, responsible, and able to use sound judgmentProficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and TeamsAbility to learn and operate loan origination systems quicklyEncompass experience preferredBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewSimplify Home Loans, LLC is made up of a team of professionals who are dedicated to one vision: making the home loan process easy and convenient for everyone who is taking such an important step in their lives.
