Skills • Must be a current Arizona resident • Active NMLS license (or ability to reactivate) • Successful completion of the SAFE exam • At least one year of mortgage lending experience • Ability to meet state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including pre-license education, state and federal testing, and background checks • Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with a team • Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for helping others Responsibilities • Evaluate and analyze applicants’ financial status, credit history, and property details to determine mortgage eligibility • Educate and guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring they understand their options • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting necessary documentation for approval • Utilize mortgage sales technology, including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), CRM tools, and credit vendor systems • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and third-party vendors throughout the mortgage process • Obtain required state mortgage licenses within the first 45 days of employment Qualifications • Must be a current Arizona resident • Active NMLS license (or ability to reactivate) • Successful completion of the SAFE exam • At least one year of mortgage lending experience • Strong ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for helping others Education Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Completion of pre-licensing education for MLOs Education Requirements Credential Category • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license Experience Requirements • At least one year of mortgage lending experience • Experience with mortgage sales technology and systems Why work in Tempe, AZ Tempe, AZ offers a vibrant community with diverse cultural experiences, beautiful weather, and a strong job market.
