MORTGAGE FUNDER I
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Mortgage Funder I is responsible for reviewing executed loan packages for accuracy and completeness. They are also responsible for funding the loan. The Mortgage Funder I is also responsible for completing post-closing audits and issuing post consummation closing disclosures.
What you will do
Ā Ensures file and documents meet all applicable bank and compliance requirements.
Ā Communicate and respond to internal customers within 2 hours.
Ā Confirms all applicable wait periods have been met prior to funding.
Ā Confirms all prior to funding conditions have been satisfied.
Ā Completes a minimum of 8 files per day.
Ā Issues post consummation-closing disclosures within the allotted SLA.
Ā Completes post-close audits of recently funded loans.
Ā Follows up for trailing docs as needed.
Ā Verifies and inputs loan information accurately into loan origination system.
Ā Verifies the following information is correct, but not limited to: subject property address, wire information, insurance policy information, all fees, & the correct set-up of any impounds.
Ā Other duties as/or assigned by management.
Must-Have*
Ā H.S. Diploma
Ā Minimum 1 year recent closing/funding experience
Ā Minimum 1 year basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Skills and Knowledge
Ā Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ā Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ā Ability to maintain high levels of performance, especially in stressful situations.
Ā Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures. (TRID experience required)
Ā Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ā Excellent organizational skills.
Ā Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
Ā Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Loan Origination systems with preference for EMPOWER.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $22.27 - $33.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
