Mortgage Business Analyst - Remote MUST HAVE MORTGAGE EXPERIENCE
Business Analyst
Position Description
Specific Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Troubleshoot production systems issues.
Manage escalation support queue and create Bug ticket requirements as needed.
Act as a project coordinator in all phases of project execution and implementation, and ensures all related objectives are fulfilled for each project.
Interviews subject matter experts, observes work processes, and communicates with business leaders and staff to research and analyze information required for the development or update of processes or systems.
Work with programmers and software developers to define solutions for system or client issues- includes writing Technical and Functional Specifications documents, for system changes.
Develop and implement project plans for smaller scale initiatives.
Advise on business change implications and produce user documentation to support and enable the implementation of new programming.
Collaborate with internal business partners and existing resources to develop a solid understanding of our business, procedures, and operations.
Relay suggestions or needs of users to Department Leadership and create raw materials to support changes.
Performs all related department administrative functions, as required.
Maintains cohesive working relationships with all levels of management, line of business personnel, and team to effectively interface on all projects and deliverables.
Follows the Companys policies and procedures and supports the Companys Core Values.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mortgage Experience- 3 years minimum
MS Office Suite: strong experience required
Presentation skills
Customer service skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills are required
Competency in Azure DevOps or similar platform
