Mortgage Area Manager
What The Role Is
Under supervision of the Mortgage Loan Regional Manager, the Mortgage Loan Area Manager is responsible for supervising mortgage loan production within a mortgage branch or branches in a specific area. The Area Manager may also produce individual sales production.
How You will Make an Impact
Provides direction and leadership to Mortgage Loan Officers to ensure corporate goals of volume, quality and compliance standards are met.
Assists Mortgage Loan Officers with complex or problematic loans.
Monitors and manages branch performance and reports findings to senior management.
Manages staff workflow and monitor pipelines to meet closing dates and/or submission to compliance.
Recruits and mentors Mortgage Loan Officers to increase production and maintain market share.
Who You Are
Knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending with good understanding of all agency, including but not limited to, FHA, VA, FNMA, USDA and portfolio underwriting guidelines.
Be able to meet strict time deadlines and work independently under pressure.
Detailed oriented and able to follow set guidelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 5 years mortgage loan experience, and 2 years of management experience.
Works cooperatively with others.
Regular and Reliable attendance.
