Mobile eCommerce Architect Developer (Flutter / GCP / AI)
Location: Remote – Based in Canada Contract: Freelance We are looking for an experienced Mobile Architect Developer, based in Canada, to take ownership of the Remedis eCommerce mobile application, currently in production, ensuring its ongoing maintenance and progressively integrating AI-powered capabilities. The Remedis app is available on both major platforms: App Store: Remedis iOS Google Play: Remedis Android We’re seeking a profile that combines technical excellence in mobile development, strong application architecture vision, and a solid understanding of modern AI tools and their applications (integration, personalization, automation) to develop the next new versions of the Remedis application. Key Responsibilities Oversee the technical architecture of the mobile app and its backend infrastructure. Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the Remedis mobile application. Design and implement new eCommerce features (personalization, performance, UX). Optimize the app’s architecture and scalability across the full tech stack. Integrate AI-based solutions (e.g., product recommendations, smart search, chatbots, image processing, or NLP depending on the roadmap). Be autonomous and propose technical decisions. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION ✅ Technical Skills Mobile Development & Front-End: Advanced proficiency in Flutter Experience with FlutterFlow (low-code UI builder) ⚙️Back-End & Cloud Infrastructure: Golang, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Notifications) Redis (caching) TypeSense (search engine) Stripe (payment integration) WooCommerce APIs (including CoCart, WPML, Product Bundles) Tools & Monitoring: Google Analytics Sentry (monitoring and debugging) ✅ AI/ML Expertise Integration of LLMs (OpenAI, Vertex AI, etc.) AI-powered search and recommendation systems Intelligent automation (workflows, agents, RAG, etc.) ️IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Mobile Architect Strong interest in eCommerce products and optimizing UX/UI Comfortable working independently and driving a live product Strategic mindset on how to leverage AI in eCommerce Curious, rigorous, and product-oriented Available 5-10 hours per week Based in Canada Professional level of English (and French is a plus) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FR Architecte Développeur Mobile e-commerce (Flutter / GCP / AI) Nous recherchons un(e) Architecte Développeur(euse) Mobile expérimenté(e) basé(e) au Canada, capable de prendre en main l’application mobile e-commerce Remedis déjà en production, d’en assurer la maintenance évolutive, et d’y intégrer progressivement une dimension d’intelligence artificielle.
