Job Summary...
Cognizant is looking for a Mobile Architect with at least 12+ years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the team and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA (Remote )
Responsibilities:
Preparation of high level and low level designs for iOS and Android mobile applications.
Defining standards and review process for all mobile development work.
Mentoring mobile team and taking responsibility of the project delivery.
Working on proposals and providing solutions for projects involving mobile work.
Coordination with mobile team at both shores onsite and offshore to deliver high quality projects.
Performing review of the work getting delivered from team at both shores (onsite/offshore)
Taking responsibility of end to end delivery of the project.
Attending meetings with stakeholders, participating in requirement grooming, design walkthrough, code walkthrough etc.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in iOS and Android mobile application development.
Strong hands on experience in android application development using java.
Strong hands on experience in iOS application development using Objective C.
Strong analytics, design and debugging skills.
Experience in building SSO with external web/mobile applications using Ping Identity
Strong understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 4/20/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 $137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
