Mobile App Developer - Travel Focus

Build and maintain innovative mobile applications for our travel technology platform. Focus on creating seamless user experiences for travelers while implementing complex features like real-time booking, itinerary management, and location-based services. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain native iOS/Android applications using Swift/Kotlin Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party travel service providers Create offline-first architecture for travelers with limited connectivity Optimize app performance and implement location-based features Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive travel interfaces Ensure security of sensitive user and payment data Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards Requirements 4+ years of mobile app development experience Strong proficiency in Swift or Kotlin Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile data persistence Understanding of iOS/Android design principles and patterns Knowledge of mobile security best practices Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Desired Qualifications Experience with travel industry APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.) Knowledge of GraphQL Experience with React Native or Flutter Background in travel tech or OTA platforms Contributions to open-source projects Experience with location services and mapping SDKs Technical Skills iOS/Android development (Swift/Kotlin) REST APIs and WebSocket SQLite and Core Data Push notifications Location services Payment gateway integration App performance optimization Unit/UI testing Benefits Base salary: $120,000 - $170,000 DOE Annual bonus potential: 10-15% Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision coverage 401(k) with 6% match Annual learning budget ($3,000) Premium dev tool subscriptions Life and disability insurance Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
