Mission Matcher: Become a Red Cross Screening Team Member - Montana

Help us create a supportive and welcoming experience for new volunteers while building a stronger Red Cross team. Screening Team Members engage with prospective volunteers to understand their motivations, interests, and the type of service they’d find most fulfilling. You’ll use this understanding to match each individual with a role where they can make the greatest impact, ensuring they find a meaningful place within the Red Cross mission. Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual screenings with prospective volunteers • Explore each candidate's skills, experiences, and passions • Provide information about Red Cross volunteer opportunities • Match volunteers to roles aligned with their interests and the organization’s needs • Ensure volunteers have a positive and welcoming experience from their first interaction Qualifications: • Strong communication and active listening skills • Ability to engage in conversations that inspire and motivate • Basic knowledge of Red Cross programs (training provided) • Comfort with virtual and phone communication Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week Location: This is a virtual role and can be performed from anywhere with internet access.
