Our Milling Technicians operate advanced milling and nesting software to produce top-tier dental restorations. This role is ideal for someone tech-savvy with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Shift Time11pm-7amCompensation$16-18 per hour + 15% night shift differentialWhat You'll DoOperate Quickly: Directly operate our milling nesting software(s) to orient and properly support dental products (e.g., crown, bridge, abutment) in a fast-paced environmentDrive Improvements: Serve as the go-to individual with firsthand insights on workflow, equipment, and capacity improvement opportunities to help drive high quality productsProblem Solve: Roll up your sleeves to quickly troubleshoot and solve process, equipment and/or technology issues as you operate within a large scale and fast paced dental labQuality Adherence: Uphold strict manufacturing quality standards (e.g., nesting operating procedures) and lead by example. High quality is key to efficient scalability!Collaborate: Work with other team members to identify and quickly address bottlenecksWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED equivalent0-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to sit for extended periods of timePassion for tackling problems and breaking them down into smaller manageable stepsHigh level of comfort with digital tools and technologyVery high attention to detail and organizational skillsTeam player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectationsNatural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quicklyStrong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to prioritize Excellent communication and listening skillsBonus Points ForWorked in a dental lab, specifically in a milling and/or nesting departmentDeep knowledge with different nesting softwares, specifically hyperDentPart of a nesting / milling department with 20+ mills beforeWorked with Arum mills before (e.g., 5X-500, 5X-500L, 5X-200)Nested / milled both generic and authentic custom titanium abutments in-houseOutstanding professional references to shareRelentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and the ability to have fun at workPhysical Requirements: This role requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing between 25-50 lbs for durations ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours per day. Frequent reaching above 5’5” is necessary, including lifting up to 10 lbs at this height. Additionally, the position involves occasional bending over for similar time frames.
