ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated Mid-Senior .NET Developer (with a minimum of 3 years of experience) to join our team and play a key role in one of our exciting projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while writing clean, efficient, and scalable code using the .NET Framework. Applications are open for candidates outside of EU. Working hours in this position are in Lithuanian time zone (GMT+3). RESPONSIBILITIES Design and write clean, scalable, and efficient code using .NET and the .NET Framework. Build and maintain high-quality web applications and APIs. Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional team members to design and implement effective software solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to resolve bugs and improve performance. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) to design schemas, write queries, and perform CRUD operations. Handle data integration and manage ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. Prepare and maintain documentation, including code, design decisions, and technical specifications. Contribute to Agile development processes, actively engaging in Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration. Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the .NET ecosystem. Support and enhance existing applications through ongoing maintenance and improvements. REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with .NET technologies. Strong proficiency in C# and solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core for building modern web applications. Good knowledge of .NET APIs, libraries, and development tools. Understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful APIs, and web services. Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), including database design and writing optimized queries. Proficiency with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest, xUnit) and strong debugging/troubleshooting skills. Comfortable working with IDEs like Visual Studio. Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., MSBuild, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into practical solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
