Job Summary:

Monks is a global digital marketing and technology services company that focuses on innovation and specialized expertise. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and support projects, ensuring they are delivered effectively while maintaining client relationships and managing competing timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Closely managing assigned projects on a day-to-day basis to drive deliverables, desired outcomes and remove barriers.

• Participate in project resourcing, facilitate project activities and manage stakeholders, both internal and external to the project and within the business function.

• Ensure the team is enabled and provided with what they need, while actively removing impediments.

• Coordinate project intake, triage, planning, execution and launch activities.

• Develop Project Management artifacts to ensure success for each project (ex: schedules, cost estimates, Scope of Work, management dashboards, internal and external status reports, risk/issue management reports.)

• Improve upon existing project management processes, including recommendation, trial and onboarding of new softwares and tools, as well as rollout of process to Creative Services team.

• Identify areas of improvement based on business needs and goals.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3-5 years of project management in an agency setting.

• Excellent knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.

• Understanding of Agile approach to project management and its importance in delivering results using a shorter feedback loop to manage risks effectively.

• Thorough knowledge of the Google suite, Asana, and the ability to utilize the tools creatively to support collaboration and minimize 'meetings for the sake of meetings' time.

• Ability to manage stakeholders to ensure deliverables are produced on time and do not affect downstream activities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in parallel without losing sight of the overall picture and setting up unrealistic goals for the team or themselves.

• Ability to think independently, and challenge the status quo by proposing more effective ways of working and fostering a collaborative environment within the team.

• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

• Nice-to-have tool familiarity includes Frame.io and Harvest Forecast.
