Mid-Level I Funding Representative (Remote Opportunity)
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Mid-Level Funding Representative shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
This position exists to develop relationships and to implement strategies that result in significant funding support from new and existing donors. This position is responsible for making regular, personalized donor cultivation and stewardship contacts leading to increased giving and achieving annual individual fundraising goals and donor connection metrics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Donor Cultivation and Service - 95%
ā¢ Represent the Navigators to donors, family foundations and organizations.
ā¢ Maintains strong relationships with the representativesā portfolio with a significant emphasis on proactive personal communication, stewardship, and cultivation (phone calls, voice messages, e-mail, text messaging, correspondence, and handwritten mail) based on each donorās preferences.
ā¢ Retains and lifts donor giving through (but not limited to) personal solicitation, acknowledgement, cultivation, stewardship, relationship building, ongoing communication, and protection of donorās data, etc.
ā¢ Perform individual donor research online and via CRM tools to learn more about individual donors.
ā¢ Asks pertinent questions during conversations with donors that help qualify, gain insight, determine passions through strong listening skills
ā¢ Coordinate with the Advancement team on an ongoing basis for portfolio donor moves with our Ministry Partner Advisors to promote a higher touch and additional giving.
ā¢ Responsible for maintaining an accurate record of donor communication, gained donor information and insight in our CRM tools.
Additional Responsibilities ā 5%
ā¢ Participate in meetings, strategic planning and fundraising discussions as needed.
ā¢ Participate in Navigatorsā on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
ā¢ Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driverās Authorization, and other releases as required.
ā¢ Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
ā¢ Submit expense reports, due the 15th of each month.
ā¢ Other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators. Knowledge of Navigator missions, ministries, and networks preferred.
Experience: At least one year of experience in a sales role or a similar role.
Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.
Education: High School diploma required. Bachelorās degree or college coursework or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation Range: $18.68 - $26.34 per hour
