Mid Java Backend Developer

Even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply — we believe great talent comes in many forms.What You'll Do:- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot.- Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases to deliver scalable and reliable applications.- Leverage technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, Redpanda, and Crunchy Data to build cloud-native solutions.- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of applications running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features that meet client and end-user needs.- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and support knowledge sharing across the team.- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.What We’re Looking For:- We’re excited to hear from candidates with experience or interest in many (not necessarily all) of the following:- Java and the Spring ecosystem- JUnit, JPA, and software testing practices- Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments- Crunchy Data for PostgreSQL in Kubernetes- Kafka and/or Redpanda for real-time data streaming- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management- Familiarity with GCP and cloud-native development- Strong communication skills in English (Advanced level preferred)Our benefits include:- Premium Healthcare- Meal voucher- Maternity and Parental leaves- Mobile services subsidy- Sick pay-Life insurance- CI&T University - Colombian Holidays- Paid VacationsAnd many others.
