Mid Backend Java Developer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust web services that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end applications using technologies such as Node.js and Express.
ā¢ Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
ā¢ Write clean, maintainable code while following best practices in software development.
ā¢ Develop and manage databases using SQL or MySQL, ensuring data integrity and security.
ā¢ Implement RESTful APIs and web services for seamless data exchange between client-side applications and servers.
ā¢ Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
ā¢ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for improved performance.
ā¢ Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
Qualifications
ā¢ Proficiency in back-end development languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) or Python.
ā¢ Experience with frameworks like Angular or React for front-end integration is a plus.
ā¢ Familiarity with Azure cloud services for application deployment and management.
ā¢ Strong understanding of database management systems including SQL and MySQL.
ā¢ Knowledge of JSON for data interchange between client-side and server-side applications.
ā¢ Experience working with Agile methodologies in a collaborative team environment.
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
ā¢ Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various functions.
