WE ARE HIRING – Microsoft .NET Developer (State of South Carolina -DSS_
CCI – W2 ONLY-Remote currently (Due to Governor’s orders, this role may become fully onsite with no notice.)
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft .NET Developer to support the State of South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in visual interface development, application logic, database design, and web services construction on the Microsoft Windows platform.
Candidates should be proficient in modern Microsoft technologies and development tools including Visual Studio, .NET technologies, Angular, and SQL Server.
Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using Microsoft .NET architecture.
• 5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing relational database engines as part of application architecture.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying web-based software systems, including:
• N-tier architectures
• Dynamic content
• Highly scalable solutions
• Complex security models and implementations
• 3+ years of experience with Angular Framework (version 15+)
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with performance, security, and regression testing tools
Environment & Tools
• MS SQL Server 2016/2019 Database Server – Minimum 8 years
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022 – Minimum 6 years
• C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET – Minimum 8 years
• ASP.NET MVC 4 or higher – Minimum 3 years
• WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) – Minimum 5 years
• Angular – Minimum 3 years
• Entity Framework 6 – Minimum 3 years
• Azure DevOps – Minimum 3 years
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2014/2016 – Minimum 2 years
Additional Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and at least two application, database, messaging, or web server systems
• Experience designing and implementing multiple software components and subsystems
• Ability to clearly communicate software design decisions, including strengths, weaknesses, and implementation reasoning
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Skills
• PowerShell scripting – Recommended, minimum 2 years
• Windows Server 2016/2019 administration (Active Directory, IIS) – Recommended, minimum 2 years
• jQuery – Minimum 3 years
• JavaScript ES6+
• Reactive programming using RxJS (Observables, Subjects, Operators)
• Angular CLI – Minimum 3 years (Project scaffolding and management)
• Strong understanding of Angular Framework (version 15+)
