POSITION OVERVIEW: Leads master data management (MDM) initiatives to ensure accurate, consistent and trusted core business entities across the enterprise ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Lead the strategy, design and implementation of master data management initiatives to establish single sources of truth for core business entities 2. Oversee data integration, quality and metadata management to ensure accuracy and usability across the organization 3. Collaborate with data governance, analytics and business teams to enforce MDM standards and best practices 4. Monitor MDM performance, adoption and compliance, recommending improvements to maximize value and reliability 5. Manage, lead, and develop a high-performing MDM team, fostering capability growth and continuous improvement 6. Perform other duties as assigned 7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data management, computer science, or related field • Five (5) years of experience in master data management, data governance, or related fields • Proven expertise in implementing and managing MDM solutions and frameworks across complex, enterprise-scale environments • Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data stewardship and integration with analytics and operational systems • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, data lakes and real-time streaming architectures • Strategic thinking to design and maintain enterprise-wide MDM solutions aligned with business objectives • Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with cross-functional teams and enforce MDM standards • Team management and coaching skills to develop and retain high-performing data professionals JOB CONDITIONS: • Some travel required Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: FedEx Freight is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans. • Know Your Rights • Pay Transparency If you have a disability and you need assistance in order to apply for a position with FedEx Freight, please call 800-888-8252 or e-mail at [email protected].
