Job Description:The Email Developer is responsible for preparation and deployment of HTML and text email content as well as the dynamic integration into a proprietary email delivery platform.Key Responsibilities:Develop complex and customized HTML email code that follows industry best practices and brand guidelines, and matches the original creative design.Additional code-related responsibilities include:Apply dynamic content rules and configure link trackingQuality assurance of dynamic emailContent change managementLink tracking and email deployment using proprietary email platformUpload HTML/Text content to email platformWork with email account production managers to coordinate campaign assetsProvide error-free final list deploymentsMeet deadlines for content publicationDemonstrate flexibility by adapting to the evolving priorities of our clientsMaintain basic knowledge of data as it relates to HTML code, to help troubleshoot critical list errorsKeep up with industry standards, innovations, and new best practices in email marketingMaintain basic knowledge of list processing and any potential list errors.Maintain error free HTML code while following the standard process and pest practices of the teamError free; Observe standard processes and best practice, yet use of auditing processes and techniques.Qualifications/What we're looking for:One to three years of experience in front-end development or email marketing in a professional environmentBachelor's degree in computer science or comparable technical field, or professional experience that shows comparable technical abilities requiredExperience building error-free email campaigns, including responsive HTML emailsBasic to Intermediate understanding of web languages and development tools such as HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and BootstrapExperience communicating with our teams as a primary contactCollaborator that is team-centric and understands the importance of client serviceExperience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)or other ESP experience (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Oracle Responsys, Oracle Eloqua)· This job can typically be done within a Monday-through-Friday schedule. At certain times throughout the year, there is advanced notice of evening or weekend work as requested by our clients—specifically around the holidays for our retail clients.The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400.
