This role will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and executing our M&A strategy. Our strategy aims to integrate both traditional and Web3 businesses into the Avalanche ecosystem. The successful candidate will spearhead efforts to forge new and exciting partnerships and bring innovative products to the Avalanche community.WHAT YOU WILL DOWork collaboratively with senior leadership to define and execute an M&A strategy that is aligned with our long-term vision for the Avalanche ecosystemConduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, focusing on traditional and crypto-native sectors and assessing their alignment with our protocol's technical and community roadmapLead and execute comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, commercial, technical, and legal reviews to identify key risks and opportunitiesOversee and lead complex financial and valuation analysis for M&A transactions, providing thought leadership on valuation methodologies (e.g., protocol revenue multiples or value accretion, TVL analysis) in a clear and concise mannerLead and execute deal negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions, taking ownership of the process from initial contact through to definitive agreementsAct as a central point of contact, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, product, legal, and marketing, to ensure alignment throughout the deal lifecycleWHAT YOU WILL BRING5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within BankingBachelors degree in Finance or closely related area; Prestigious institution and/or MBADemonstrated experience in building complex financial models and executing dealsExceptional quantitative and analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a client-centric approachProven strategic and creative thinkingOutstanding written and oral communication skillsMust be located in NYC area for a Hybrid work environmentSalary Range: $159,197 to $198,996(**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)WHY AVA LABS?If you've ever thought about joining an early stage Web3 company - this is it!
