Merchant Services Sales Consultant
Job Description:
• Deliver customized payment processing and merchant technology solutions to small‑ and medium‑sized business clients
• Partner with Retail Banking teams to drive referrals, support sales activities, and expand business relationships
• Proactively prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities within your territory
• Assess client needs and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth
• Navigate policies, procedures, and compliance standards while exercising sound judgment
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless and positive client experience
• Build lasting relationships through effective communication, presentations, and follow‑up
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Business-to-business (B2B) sales background
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills
• Confident presentation skills with diverse client and stakeholder groups
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote, structured environment
• Strong organizational skills, including proficiency with CRM systems
