Merchant - RV Accessories and Antifreeze
The Merchant is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability within a moderately complex category. This role oversees pricing, promotion, supplier negotiations, and financial management while collaborating cross-functionally to align channel strategies and optimize customer experience. The Merchant leads a team to achieve operational excellence, leveraging data insights to inform decisions and continuously improve performance. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage supplier relationships to support Walmart’s commitment to delivering value and exceptional service to customers.

They collaborate across functions to optimize supplier relationships, pricing, and inventory decisions. What you'll do...
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, incorporating market trends and customer insights.
• Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including pricing, promotions, and inventory decisions to meet financial targets.
• Lead supplier negotiations, establish performance metrics, and oversee supplier relationships to ensure optimal execution.
• Drive channel strategy decisions and collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize product availability and customer experience.
• Supervise and develop team members, setting performance expectations and fostering professional growth.
• Utilize data analysis to inform decisions, improve category performance, and support digital initiatives.
• Oversee modular assortment planning, product setup, and promotional feature execution across channels.
