Merchant Onboarding Sales Specialist, Bilingual

Financeit is a point-of-sale financing provider serving large home improvement and retail organizations in Canada. The Bilingual Merchant Onboarding Sales Specialist is responsible for onboarding new merchants and ensuring they actively use the platform to fund financing volume, while maintaining communication and compliance with approval processes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong relationships with potential new merchantsIdentify potential new accounts while following up on inbound sales inquiries and other lead listsEnsure all appropriate documentation and information have been obtained from merchants, and contact applicants until the applications are completeAssess all new potential merchant partners within the Canadian market and review company and business owner/director information and performance as per Financeit onboarding guidelinesRespond to incoming merchant inquiries as requiredEnsure merchant accounts are properly notatedEnsure compliance to our approval and risk requirementsSkills1+ year of experience managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationshipsExperience with cold callingBilingual in French and English (required)You know your way around a CRM, ideally SalesforceStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlines under pressureStrong customer service and retail background are plusesBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage + Lifestyle Account.RRSP Matching and Parental Leave Top UP Program.In office massage, meditation & workout sessions.Virtual events such as Lunch & Learns, company parties, fun team activities and charity initiatives.Career learning and development programsCompany OverviewFinanceit simplifies complex sales transactions for businesses and their customers.
