About the position Responsibilities • Own brand portfolio and develop online strategy to drive sales through owned marketing channels. • Regularly report on performance metrics and sales outcomes. • Maintain strong relationships with brands, retail merchants, marketing, and e-commerce teams. • Review business strategies with brands to maximize online sales and identify marketing opportunities. • Partner with inventory team to manage brand budgets and forecast new products. • Collaborate with e-commerce team on site enhancements and special projects. • Develop, mentor, and train Assistant Merchant and Merchandise Coordinator. • Stay current with online merchandising trends and best practices. Requirements • Minimum 5+ years of retail merchant/buyer level experience. • Online merchandising or marketing experience strongly preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Exemplary analysis and problem-solving skills at strategic, financial, and tactical levels. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to lead cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
